I am encouraged by the actions of Peter in this chapter. He responded to the truth from God and the leading of the Spirit to go and do something that was way out of his comfort zone. But he faithfully went and faithfully presented the gospel and the Spirit used that message to bring salvation to the household of Cornelius. This is an example for me to always obey what I learn from the Lord and trust Him as I represent Him to others. May I see many households come to salvation through the gospel of Jesus Christ!

"God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him." Praise God for making a way for me!

In verse 28 Peter says, "...but God has shown me that I should not call any person common or unclean." This is such a wonderful statement which gives anyone the promise God provided for those who would believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe!
